How Much Does an HHO System Cost?

Costs for HHO systems can vary greatly, depending on the quality, construction, materials, and whether you are buying just a basic HHO generator (also called a hydrogen generator, hydrogen cell, etc) or a complete system with what are known as enhancers (these are optional add-on components which enhance the performance of the system for maximum fuel efficiency).

Also, if you are a do-it-yourself type, you can make your own system for substantial savings over buying one ready-made, however this is not recommended for most people. If you are considering building or installing your own system, see our HHO How-To page for more on this.

So what should you expect to pay for a ready-made HHO system, or hydrogen car kit, complete with enhancers? These usually run from a few hundred up to several hundred dollars for most vehicles, with higher prices for vehicles with larger engines like big V8's or diesel trucks.
